Maggie's List Endorses Rebecca Negron for Florida's 18th Congressional District

Maggie’s List, a federal political action committee dedicated to electing conservative women to federal office, is proud to announce the endorsement of Rebecca Negron in her campaign for Florida Congressional District 18, which represents Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Counties. Negron’s deep roots and proven leadership as a school board member in Martin County make her a perfect fit for Florida’s 18th District.

“I am humbled to have the support of Maggie’s List as the campaign trail begins,” states Negron. “As a long-time resident of Martin County, I understand what issues matter to our community, including education, economic and workforce growth, and helping families keep more of their hard-earned dollars to save and spend as they please - not how the federal government sees fit. The federal government has grown too big and spends too much. It’s time to make Washington balance the budget, reduce the debt, and start treating taxpayers with respect. I look forward to having the opportunity to serve the Treasure Coast in Washington where I will fight for the conservative polices we need to get our country back on track.”

“Maggie’s List is proud to endorse Rebecca Negron, a true conservative who has public and private sector experience. She has the tools to make a difference in Congress, having been both an elected official and working as an obstetrical nurse. She will hit the ground running, having both education and health care real world experiences,” says Sandra B. Mortham, Chairman of Maggie’s List and former Florida Secretary of State. “Negron embraces the core values of Maggie’s List: fiscal conservatism, less government, more personal responsibility, and strong national security.”
